About Screenfits
I started doing this in my own time, pausing shows mid-scene to figure out what someone was wearing. A jacket. A shirt that's on screen for maybe ten seconds before the camera moves on. Once I spent way longer than I'd like to admit trying to track down a cardigan from a scene that lasted about five seconds turns out I wasn't the only one who noticed it.
That's basically the whole idea behind this site.
We dig into memorable character outfits and try to help you find pieces that get you close to the same look. Sometimes that means the actual item, if we can track it down. Most of the time it means something more affordable that nails the color, the fit, the general feel of it close enough that anyone who's seen the show would get it.
Putting a guide together usually means going back and forth between screenshots, promo photos, whatever costume details we can dig up, and then hunting around for products that actually match. It's a bit more work than people probably assume, but getting it close is most of the fun.
How this site makes money
Some links here are affiliate links if you click through and buy something, we get a small cut. Doesn't cost you anything extra. It's basically what keeps the lights on and lets this stay a real, updated site instead of something abandoned after three posts. Nobody pays us to feature their products, and affiliate deals never decide what makes it into a guide — the full breakdown is in our affiliate disclosure.
