Victorian shapes, restriction removed.
Holly Waddington designed Poor Things by taking the Victorian silhouette and stripping out what constrained the body — for Paris, "we took away the corsets and made all of these bodices instead." The rubber cape was a material reference rather than a fashion one: "it looks like an early condom."
